DAY ONE
Arrival & First Impressions of Istanbul

Our Turkish journey begins in Istanbul. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to our hotel, with time to settle in and unwind after your travels. The afternoon is intentionally unstructured, inviting you to ease into the city’s rhythm with a gentle wander through the surrounding neighbourhood. From historic streets to ferries crossing the Bosphorus, Istanbul’s layered character quickly reveals itself. Dinner is at leisure this evening, allowing a relaxed first taste of the city and time to arrive fully before the days ahead.

DAY TWO
From Istanbul to the Otherworldly Landscapes of Cappadocia

Begin with a gentle morning walk along the Bosphorus before breakfast, then transfer to Istanbul Airport for a short flight to Cappadocia. Journey through valleys of fairy chimneys and striking rock formations to our authentic stone hotel. In the evening, gather for a welcome dinner of local specialties, wine, and stories, soaking in the region’s magic and unique landscapes.

DAY THREE
Cappadocia’s Valleys, Castles & Underground Cities

Rise early for a chance to see hot air balloons drift over Cappadocia’s surreal valleys. After breakfast with panoramic views, explore the Göreme Open Air Museum’s frescoed rock churches, climb to Uçhisar Castle for sweeping vistas, and wander Pigeon Valley. Descend into Kaymaklı Underground City to uncover hidden history. The day ends with flexible time to soak in the magical landscape before dinner at leisure.

DAY FOUR
Fairy Chimneys, Cave Villages & Cappadocia’s Creative Spirit

Start the day with an optional morning walk before breakfast, then explore Paşabağları’s striking fairy chimneys and the Zelve Open Air Museum’s rock-carved village. Visit Avanos to watch master potters at work, enjoy lunch, and taste local wines at a nearby winery. Begin with a gentle morning walk and breakfast before flying back to Istanbul. After checking in, explore the Pera Museum and stroll along lively İstiklal Street. An optional traditional hammam offers a moment of relaxation and cultural immersion. The evening is at leisure, allowing you to enjoy Istanbul’s dining scene or unwind after a day of travel and discovery..

DAY SIX
Palaces, the Bosphorus & Island Escapes

After breakfast, explore the opulent Dolmabahçe Palace, overlooking the Bosphorus. Then board a private charter boat for a cruise past grand waterfront mansions, mosques and fortresses. Weather permitting, continue to the Princes’ Islands, where a slower pace awaits. Enjoy lunch and drinks onboard, with the rare chance to swim where Europe and Asia meet, experiencing Istanbul from its most evocative vantage point.

DAY SEVEN
Neighbourhoods & the Flavours
of Istanbul

Begin at Topkapı Palace, exploring courtyards and pavilions that reveal the power and ritual of the Ottoman Empire. Wander the colourful streets of Fener and Balat for a glimpse of everyday Istanbul, then visit the Spice Bazaar alive with scent and trade. In the afternoon, join a hands-on cooking class, preparing and sharing traditional Turkish dishes. The evening is at leisure.

DAY EIGHT
Istanbul’s Icons & Hidden Depths

Start with an optional morning walk before exploring Istanbul’s historic heart. Visit the Blue Mosque, the ancient Hippodrome and the awe-inspiring Hagia Sophia. Descend into the Underground Cistern, then pause for tea while learning about traditional rug weaving. The afternoon is spent wandering the Grand Bazaar, a lively maze of shops where Istanbul’s energy, colour and centuries-old trading culture come alive.

DAY NINE:
Walking Istanbul, History
& Street Food

Discover Istanbul on foot, beginning at the grand Süleymaniye Mosque with sweeping views over the Golden Horn. Wander historic neighbourhoods shaped by Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman eras, passing hidden landmarks along the way. Today is also about flavour — tasting local street foods, sweets and traditional boza. The journey ends at Pierre Loti Hill before a farewell dinner, sharing stories and reflections on our time together.

DAY ten
Farewell to Istanbul

Our final morning is unhurried, with time to enjoy breakfast, wander nearby streets or simply take in Istanbul’s rhythms one last time. Depending on flight schedules, private transfers are arranged to the airport.
